Telos Brands – Marketing Role – Job Spec

Job Overview

Telos is looking for its first hire! The company is looking for someone with deep experience in marketing and brand management on Amazon to lead the marketing organization. As part of a new startup, the job will be highly dynamic and give significant opportunity for ownership, both of work product and equity in the business. As the company continues to scale quickly, there will be opportunities to build out your own team within the marketing organization.

Responsibilities

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Optimizing Amazon product pages
  • Managing Amazon PPC
  • Building and implementing off-Amazon marketing strategies, such as Shopify sites, Google PPC, affiliate marketing, etc.
  • Assist with demand forecasting
  • General brand management duties

Successful candidates will be considered for future leadership positions within the marketing organization.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years track record of success in Amazon marketing, including product page design and PPC campaign management
  • Data-driven approach to marketing performance
  • Extreme familiarity with Amazon ToS
  • Must be a self-starter

Additional preferred qualifications:

  • Off-Amazon marketing experience
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required

Telos is looking for its first talent hire! The company is looking for someone with deep recruiting experience, preferably with an emphasis across any of software engineering, brand management and / or supply chain. As part of a new startup, the job will be highly dynamic and give significant opportunity for ownership, both of work product and equity in the business. As the company continues to scale quickly, there will be opportunities to build out your own team within the talent organization.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Building a pipeline of qualified candidates across multiple functions within the organization 
  • Managing the candidate lifecycle, including running initial screens, coordinating the process between candidate and Telos, and guiding candidates to offer
  • Helping “close” candidates past the offer stage
  • Helping benchmark compensation for potential hires 
  • Coordinating with external recruiting agencies
  • Ensuring a “delightful” interview process – our candidates should walk away with a positive impression of the recruiting experience

Successful candidates will be considered for future leadership positions within the Talent or People organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher 
  • 2+ years track record of success in talent or recruiting 
  • Charismatic, extroverted and excited to interact with new faces on a daily basis 
  • Experience with recruiting softwares (e.g., LinkedIn recruiter, RocketReach, etc.) and ATSs (e.g., Lever, Greenhouse, etc.)
  • Must be a self-starter

Additional preferred qualifications:

  • Recruiting experience specific to software engineering, brand management and / or supply chain 
  • Leadership experience within Talent
