Telos Brands – Marketing Role – Job Spec

Job Overview

Telos is looking for its first hire! The company is looking for someone with deep experience in marketing and brand management on Amazon to lead the marketing organization. As part of a new startup, the job will be highly dynamic and give significant opportunity for ownership, both of work product and equity in the business. As the company continues to scale quickly, there will be opportunities to build out your own team within the marketing organization.

Responsibilities

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Optimizing Amazon product pages
  • Managing Amazon PPC
  • Building and implementing off-Amazon marketing strategies, such as Shopify sites, Google PPC, affiliate marketing, etc.
  • Assist with demand forecasting
  • General brand management duties

Successful candidates will be considered for future leadership positions within the marketing organization.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years track record of success in Amazon marketing, including product page design and PPC campaign management
  • Data-driven approach to marketing performance
  • Extreme familiarity with Amazon ToS
  • Must be a self-starter

Additional preferred qualifications:

  • Off-Amazon marketing experience
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required

International Expansion Specialist

Job Overview

Telos is looking for its first international expansion specialist! The company is looking for an experienced specialist to take US-based eCommerce brands and appropriately expand them to international markets. As the first international specialist, you will play a critical role in designing our international playbook.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating Telos’ existing portfolio of brands to determine the correct cultural fit for international opportunities, or how to tweak existing messaging for international markets
  • Ensuring international expansions are compliant with market-specific regulations
  • Building relationships with 3PLs in international markets and working with our brand managers to ensure smooth supply chain operations for international operations
  • Working with marketing experts to ensure SEO is updated in an appropriate way that still ensures a high-quality customer experience when evaluating our products

Successful candidates will be considered for future leadership positions within the brand management organization.

Qualifications

  • Prior Amazon FBA experience, with a track record of growing Amazon revenue
  • Experience should encompass managing marketing, supply chain, and inventory for Amazon brands selling in multiple markets
  • Detailed knowledge of international selling requirements in major markets (Canada, UK, Germany, Mexico, etc.)

Additional preferred qualifications:

  • Non-Amazon eCommerce experience
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required
